Design Programs That Produce Powerful Outcomes

Grantmakers focus their investments on results and long-term impact, so it’s up to organizations to design solid approaches that meet their constituency’s needs, and to document the positive changes that result from those approaches. This workshop covers the major aspects of developing effective programs that will inspire support. This training is focused on program planning rather than writing proposals.

The workshop’s content and duration are customized for each particular audience. The most common format is one or two days. This training is offered only as a sponsored option.

Who Should Take This Training

This training is specifically for staff and volunteers who engage in the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs. It is relevant for all fields and can be customized to emphasize specific areas.

  • Develop evaluation methods to assess achievement

How You Learn

Designing Programs for Results uses our Listen & Discuss, Do & Review® curriculum — the most effective approach for adult learners. Our training uses hands-on exercises so that participants retain what they learn. You leave this training with an abstract of your program as well as a network of colleagues.
