PROJECT GRANTSMANSHIP - October 5-9, 2026

PROJECT GRANTSMANSHIP helps small to medium-sized Los Angeles County learn how to secure grants. You'll be guided by a caring, expert trainer, while working alongside colleagues who share your dedication to making stronger communities.

See your program with fresh eyes as you draft real grant proposals in class. Learn how to find grantmakers who are interested in your mission. On the last day of class, enjoy a Meet-the-Grantmakers Q&A with representatives from local foundations.

JOIN US

If you're a board member or paid staff of an organization based in and serving Los Angeles County with IRS 501(c)(3) public charity status and an annual budget at or below $14.5 million, this is for you! Organizations may send up to two participants. Sorry, volunteers and independent consultants are not included.

YOUR COST

The standard fee of $1,255 is underwritten by project partners so that you pay only $200 or $300 per person, depending on your organization's budget. This fee includes everything: a whole week of knock-your-socks-off training plus the textbook, a customized e-notebook and follow-up benefits. You'll receive a 50% rebate after completing activities including submitting a proposal for review and an online survey six months after class.

PLEASE NOTE

Because this training is comprehensive and segments build upon one another, you're committing to all scheduled online sessions and class assignments.

Class is limited to 25 participants. Enrollment is first come, first served. To withdraw and receive a refund, you must notify us at least 2 weeks beforeclass starts. In an emergency, you may designate another eligible person to attend in your place before class starts. Once class has begun, substitutions are not possible.

HOW TO APPLY

Submit this application below, then email 2 items to ashley@tgci.com or applications@tgci.com:

Once your application is approved, you'll receive an email with instructions to complete your registration and pay the $200 or $300 fee, which reserves your seat.
