Essential Grant Skills

Dallas, Texas
May 10 - 11, 2017

Tight schedule and even tighter budget? Need an intro to grant proposal writing? Or a refresher? Then this fast-paced 2-day course is perfect! Essential Grant Skills covers the same wide breadth of information for grant proposal writing as our 5-day Grantsmanship Training Program but it’s concentrated into less time, using small-bite, interactive exercises.

Designed for nonprofit, academic and government agencies seeking grant funding, this is the quickest way to get up to speed fast and thoroughly. You’ll put new knowledge into practice with our Listen & Discuss, Do & Review® curriculum. You’ll learn all 8 parts of The Grantsmanship Center Logic Model and though you won’t work on a team writing and reviewing full grant proposals as in the 5-day class, and you will analyze and write parts of a grant proposal for your own organization to take back to your office.

You'll have a solid head start on getting grants for your organization. During this lively class you'll be supported and guided by an expert trainer who is passionate about helping you to help your constituents. Your grant proposal writing projects will get a big boost from new skills, new information, and new contacts!
