Breaking News! Federal Grants Reform Begins

On February 28, 2012, The federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in conjunction with the federal awarding agencies announced the beginning of one of the most comprehensive reforms of federal grants policy since the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. This announcement was issued as an Advanced Notice of Proposal Guidance (ANPG) in the Federal Register and the reform initiative will focus on grant administration, auditing policy, and cost administration.
