Customized Training Programs: Fees

The Grantsmanship Center staff works with sponsors to determine what adjustments will help to achieve maximum effectiveness with their selected participants, then revise written materials and make slight curriculum adjustments as needed. Some sponsored trainings do not require customization, and others require a great deal.
The fee for the Grantsmanship Center sponsored training depends on the degree to which customization is required, and in the case of international travel, on the actual cost of trainer travel.
The cost of a sponsored training program includes training materials and travel expenses for the trainer, and for some trainings also includes extensive follow-up benefits for participants.

The Center also offers specialized training focused on different subject areas, and tailors training to fit within the time constraints of conferences or association meetings. The fees for these trainings are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
The fee for a sponsored training program is paid by a single organization, although the funds may come from any number of sources including the organization’s budget, grants, or fees collected from individual participants.
We would enjoy talking to you about the possibility of sponsoring one of our training programs. You can call Dawn Skaperdas, Training Program Coordinator, or Barbara Floersch, Director. We can both be reached at (800) 421-9512 or (213) 482-9860. If you’d prefer, you could also complete and submit this form, and we’ll get back to you.
