The Grantsmanship Center also provides customized training programs tailored to the specific needs of an agency or group of agencies. These are developed around one of the following trainings: Grantsmanship Training Program, Social Enterprise for Nonprofits, Research Proposal Workshop, Essential Grant Skills, or Competing for Federal Grants.

Participants in a customized workshop share common concerns. They may all work in the same field or for the same agency. They may be looking for funding from similar sources. The Grantsmanship Centersm works closely with the sponsor to identify the specific needs of the group and to meet those needs by focusing on appropriate funding sources and developing special class exercises.

Associations and coalitions often sponsor customized trainings as well, sometimes collecting full or partial tuition from each member agency or from participants. Click here to see some examples of customized trainings that The Grantsmanship Centersm has recently provided.
